Humanity
Ancient Gods smile in dour mirth,
releasing the eternal energy
within coiled earth,
unknown springs crack rock,
beetle & lizard suffer distributive shock
Sudden quite, stops time`s clock
we hear tick.. but not tock!
land moves with perennial timing
world bells eerily stop their chiming
wolves howl in fright
at the earths crumpling and crunching,
they cower not knowing, balking, bunching,
Nature creates many graves with pounding waves,
and the subsequent collapsing
of societies` enclaves,
Mountains crumble
to inner earths rumble,
dearth of famine will follow soon,
as human, animal, bird and insect
suffer intolerable monsoon
from nature`s eternal pandect
Where now the sunshine, joy and happy commune;
As Neptune sends chaos,
from New Orleans to Laos
Thor sends ruin, Cities bestrewn
From Gujurat to Rangoon;
now, Sichuan`s the birth of gloom
Though our World,
from rock is hewn
peoples,
with inner strength,
always attune,
to read their own rune`
hope eternal is the game
forever optimistic we must remain.
Nations hold hand to arraign
the animals of earths disasters
we must reclaim
with this destruction before Gods court;
Ean in pain mankind` must retort,
be strong, as together,
we fight the fear,
And wipe away the last tear.
