WILD LINKS SPANISH ISLES & ANTONIO GAUDI
All the Balearic Islands are stunning and I especially loved visiting Palma the capital of Majorca, Spain's largest island.
Ibiza is where my step father built his boutique hotel "Pikes" where many famous people holiday. One trip to Spain we flew to Madrid on the mainland, then travelled by private bus with the famous music artist SADE and her band. Through gorgeous country side and rolling hills down to Marbella which is a city in Andalusia, by the Mediterranean, situated in the province of Málaga.
Then onto Seville which is the artistic, cultural and financial capital of southern Spain.
Endangered species from this region include the Blue Whale and Mediterranean Monk Seal (both featured in the Fantasea Collection) and the Iberian Lynx is one of the world's rarest mammals
formerly found throughout Spain and Portugal. The design for the Iberian Lynx is available in the Big Cat Collection.

FORMENTERA - tranquil little sister island of Ibiza, one of the last outposts of paradise in the Mediterranean. Bike ride around the quirky island in perfect style meeting the local cats!

BARCELONA - an interesting and historical city with a terrific L'aquarium! the reason I visited this part of Spain was to see all of Antonio Gaudi's works by train! the sights I enjoyed the most.
