WILD LINKS PERU
Peru is amazing and so much to be inspired by. My main area of research was to cover the territory of the endangered Puma, largest of the Small Cats and the greatest jumping cat. I explored Machu Picchu and many ancient cities in Peru with their Inca walls, the Nazca lines, and the Altoplano region where the reed people live on floating reed islands on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and where the Puma once roamed freely in the hills. Other spectacular sites were the Andean Condors flying directly overhead at the Colca Canyon and the prolific birdlife of the Balestas Isles with numerous sea birds, penguins and sea lions. Not to forget the fascinating Toucan and the Cock-of-the-Rock!
